Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about what drives people and how to create meaningful change—and it all started in a very different world.
My career began in policing, where the stakes were high, and clear communication, quick thinking, and trust were everything. In that environment, I learned the critical value of trust, empowerment, teamwork, and support, principles I’ve carried into every role since.
Transitioning from policing into the world of business, I quickly saw that many of the same dynamics applied, though with one big difference. In business, people too often feel overlooked, or like their voices don’t matter. These environments don’t inspire the best from people, they lead to a lack of connection, and with it, a lack of results.
That’s where I knew I could make a difference.
I’ve spent my career helping teams and leaders move past this. From operational roles to executive and now the world of consulting, I’ve consistently brought an engagement-driven approach that empowers people at every level of an organisation.
